The conference will be held at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida. Sun-drenched and spectacular, Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center brings excitement to life through world-class restaurants, dynamic on-site recreation, and breathtakingly beautiful gardens under glass.

Underneath climate-controlled signature glass atriums lies an extraordinary selection of dining, shopping and recreation options. When you aren’t participating in a Hobsons University session, there is plenty to enjoy. The conference rate of $179 per night (plus taxes) includes the resort fee. When you book your room, the hotel will charge you for one (1) night of lodging for a deposit. You may cancel your reservation at no charge up to 72 hours prior to arrival. Transportation Services
The Gaylord Palms is located only 1.5 miles from the main gate of the Walt Disney World theme parks and 20 minutes from the Orlando International Airport. A one-way cab is approximately $25.

Airport Shuttle
The Gaylord Palms has partnered with Mears Transportation to provide transportation to and from the airport as part of their 24-hour shuttle service. There is a fee for this service. Reservations can be reserved online or by calling Means at 407-423-5566.

Tour Options

We have arranged two specific local tour options for Hobsons U attendees. Please register for these in advance during the registration process.

Universal Orlando CityWalk and Party Pass – July 24th from 6:00pm to 12:00am
Cost = $15.00
This tour provides you bus transportation to and from CityWalk and the Gaylord Palms, as well as complementary admission to all the nightclubs at CityWalk. (Dinner is on your own.)

This tour provides you bus transportation to and from CityWalk and the Gaylord Palms, and attendance at the Blue Man Group show. (Dinner is not provided.)
